The anime series "Azumanga Daioh" is a hilarious look into the daily lives and classroom antics of a group of normal (and not-so normal) high school girls and their teachers based on a popular comic strip turned-anime series. Featuring 10-year-old geniuses, hand-biting kittens and endearing music-box instrumentals from composer Masaki Kurihara, the "Azumanga Daioh Original Soundtrack 1," offers 36 tracks including the TV size versions of the opening vocal song, "Soramimi no Cake" and the closing theme, "Raspberry Heaven" by the group, Oranges & Lemons consisting of Yoko Ueno and Masumi Ito (Fushigi Yugi Eikoden, Haibane Renmei, .hack//Legend of the Twilight, Koi Kaze, Scrapped Princess) .

This CD also features a full-color insert booklet with lyrics and song titles translated in English, as well as romanized lyrics.

Note: This is an official US domestically produced soundtrack under license from the original Japanese manufacturer.
